AKATEEN REPORTThe AKAteens held their Annual Tea on September 17, 2001. All went well and we have accepted 1$ new members. Our first meeting with the ladies was held this morning. We went over our policies, rules, and regulations and had the ladies sign up for committees. We also established a regular schedule for meetings, workshops/community service and social events.The ladies will be participating in a talent show sponsored by the Archonettes which is the youth group advised by the Zetas. The ladies will be performing a hip hop dance routine that they are choreographing themselves. The event will take place Saturday Nov. 17 at 7pm located at the West Las Vegas Library Theater. Doors open at 6pm and the cost of admission is $5 with a can good item or $10 without.I would like to move that I be reimbursed the amount of $L>5. Theta Theta Omega Chapter Thanksgiving Day Committee Report Saturday November 3,2001Sorors, if you haven’t had an opportunity to remit your $10 donation toward the baskets, please do so today.The next committee meeting will be on Friday November 16,2001 at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Soror Amanda McWilliams to put together the baskets and receive the assignments for deliveries. Directions to her home are included in the flyer that was distributed to you.The baskets will be delivered on Saturday November 17,2001. We will meet at the home of Soror Amanda at 8 am to receive our delivery assignements.Any Soror interested in helping with the baskets is asked to contact Soror Amanda or Soror Sami.Respectfully Submitted, Soror Sami Randolph

Kappa Xi will be distributing Buckl^Jp key chains to tliejtudents at Matt Kelly as well as giving
information about the importance of seat belt safety^rEis activity will take place Decembe7^)2001.
Rush was held on Sunday, November 4,20^1 at 4pm. There were three young ladies in attendance.
They were all transfer student^ and ineligible for consideration^ student must have completed a
semester at the university which she is interesting in joining prior to Rush*Thanksto Sorors Amanda
McWilliams and Jacqueline Hall for their attendance^
The undergraduates were granted permission by the Regional Director to step in the step show being
held this afternoon affiJNUv8|mpm. Tlre'stcp show is being sponsored by^Alpha Phi Alpha
Fraternity Inc, and there is a possibility forthem to win $17)60 dollars for the chapter. Please come
out and show the undergraduates wour support as the^tep^wa&with $1000 dollars.
The Regional Director^Soror Diana ShiplwTs sponsoring a Graduate "AdvisorRetreat. The
Graduate Advisor’s Retreat is being held at the Gold Coast January 4-6, 2002.
