Judye Skorina volunteered to make the invitations for the event and Harriet will donate the latkes. When members RSVP they will be requested to bring an item such as dessert, soda, coffee, sour cream, applesauce, or paper goods. In the spirit of Chanukah, each person will bring a $10.00 gift to play the gift exchange game. All husbands, significant others, potential members and their spouses are welcome but a definite RSVP is needed. Ramona Luckman, Education Vice President, read the latest Hadassah Newsletter to inform us of some progress made in research at the Hadassah Hospital, innovations in various fields of study and general areas where our donated dollars are at work. Stamps for the newsletter were called for, as were labels for St. Judes and sample toiletries for Shadetree. Good and Welfare, Sherry DeArmas informed us that Marcy Simon had stomach surgery 10 days prior and is feeling better and up to receiving calls. We all wish her well and a speedy recovery. The meeting was adjourned at 8;55 p.m. Respectfully Submitted, Harriet Smylie
