Hr. A. 0. Hitters Please note the attached application fro§ Harold & Vaughan4e Cafe for a location on the LVL&W Co. site at Main and Ogden Streets where the old grocery store building Is located. Their present lease at 1st A Ogden satires In March* They would like to lease or purchase the location at Main A Ogden. Bert Webb now hae the old grocery store under lease and Is willing to dispose of it. the lots adjoining the grocery store are under lease to 0. 0. McDaniel, and It would be necessary for his to relinquish a snail part of his lease In order to permit Harold A Vaugnan4s to construct a suitable building in place of the grocery store. In discussing this with Mr. McDaniel# he advises he needs all of the roes that he now has for used oars and# in fact# would like to acquire some sore. My thought in the natter is that It would be to our advantage to take sose action with reference to the old building before it becomes a definite liability* McDaniel offered a counter proposal to remove the building from the grounds at no expense to the company and# in addition# pay us as much rental for the vacant lot as we now receive from the building. Will be glad to discuss this with you on your next trip to Las Vegas# and# meanwhile# will you kindly advise what reply should be made to Harold A Vaughan* s Oafs* Las Vegas - October 19, 1950 W la-1-5 A.
