We enjoyed the opportunity to meet with you and had a most comfortable, though brief, stay. All of the items which were outlined in your letter are in agreement with the n<3tes that I made during the course of our meeting a$d I have | no issue to take with any of them. Should we select the Sands, most of these details could be handled with little difficulty. There are, however, two items which came up during our meeting which were excluded from your letter but are important to us and I want to remind you of them now. The aspect of public relations and "the treatment" afforded to the convention in general and our artists in particular is of paramount interest to us. Being an aspect of show business we attach great significance to the impact that a publicity build up and VIP treatment can affordWe want to insure that whichever hotel we select will have the personnel adequate to conceive and execute an extensive campaign both prior to our arrival and during our stay. Len and I will be on the coast within four weeks and would consider meeting with you or anyone you designate to review our require- ments . 2. During our tour of the facilities you showed us a rather handsome suite which included such amenities such as a spacious living room, bar and intimate swimming pool. We presumed that this had been designated for Len if we were to stay there but I noticed no mention of it in your letter. Pos- sibly this was an oversight. I ldiok forward/to your reply. a _ ^ / // / / yjf ff Bqst diegards;^ if M ** flj *Nj mlmfPi iU?╟÷^ VICTOR M. DIM Mr. Joe Carbone Sands Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada
