Due to the d iffe re n c e in e le v a tio n between the o ld and new r e s e r v o ir s the water which masses through the C harleston Boulevard meter backs up through the Clark S treet meter in to the o ld r e s e r v o ir ; th e re fo re , to obtain the c o rre c t t o t a l o f water fu rn ish ed LVLAW Co. we should add meter readin gs o f the west felde meter 17,859,600 g a llo n s , the Ogden S treet meter 17^,178,000 g a llo n s , and the Charleston Boulevard meter 110,588,000 g a llo n s , t o t a l 145,619,606. Deducting the amount o f water which backed through the Clark S tree t meter, as r e fle c t e d by meter readin gs o f 5,881,000 g a llo n s , i t le a v e s a net o f 139,938,600 g a llo n s d e liv e re d to LVL&W Co. durin g the month o f December. With my l e t t e r to you o f February 16th I return ed approved your rep o rts fo r the month o f December and requested that you correct statement No. 3 showing the g a llo n s o f w ater re corded through w ater meters and non-metered a t la s Vegas due to the fa c t that the correct amount o f water d e liv e re d to the Lag Vegas Land & Water Co. should be 166,482,000 g a llo n s because the w ater backed through the Clark S treet meter.
