SCOTT, SECRETARY Public Service Commission of Nevada CARSON CITY February 27, 1951 OUR FILE YOUR FILE Las Vegas Land and Water Company Las Vegas Nevada Gentlemen: We are in receipt of a Resolution passed by the Las Vegas Tax­payers Association and presented to the Mayor and City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas. As a copy of the Resolution was furnished to the Las Vegas newspapers you are probably familiar with its contents. A request has been made to this office by the City of Las Vegas to require the Union Pacific Railroad and the Las Vegas Land and Water Company to supply the Las Vegas City Commission the Railroad’s and water utility’s financial statement, also Profit and Loss Statement, for the year 1950* Will you kindly have said statements prepared and made available to Mr. Howard Cannon, City Attorney, City of Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Nevada, not later than March 15 so that the City Commissioners may have sufficient time to make a study of same prior to the date of hearing. A copy of the statements should also be mailed to this office. A prompt acknowledgment of this letter will be appreciated. Very truly yours,
