Would have authorized governor to establish daylight saving time from May 1 to September 30 of any year. Would have imposed tax of 20 per gallon on sale of aviation fuel. Would have amended unemployment compensation act to 'provide cash benefits for sickness, both mental and physical. Vetoed by Governor. Would have required anyone owning, operating, or controlling land having an excavation deep enough to endanger persons or livestock to fence, cover, or fill same so as to afford permanent protection.
