Maag Recommendation for Las Vegas Land and Water Company authority to install, at Company1s expense, a 14" meter and a 12" pressure reducing valve incident to construction of water mains to serve Heers Subdivision and new section of city which is expected to develop adjacent to State Highway 95 northerly of Bonanza Road, Las Vegas, Nevada, at an estimated cost of #9,570. chargeable to investment. Heers Associates are developing Heers Subdivision along Highway 95 northerly of Bonanza Road in a previously undeveloped portion of city and have requested Water Company to install water mains to serve their subdivision, for which they have agreed to deposit the amount of #83,780 Including overhead and supervision to cover the cost of the work under Rule 9 of the Rules and Regulations of the Nevada Public Service Commission, as indicated in my previous submission and Form 30 Estimate, department 35A No. 1043, dated July 24, 1953. Subject to executive approval, it has been agreed that the Water Company will bear the expense of providing Increased water pressure required to serve the Heers Subdivision and will also provide, at its own expense, a meter and pressure reducing valve to serve its own purposes Incident to the construction of these new water lines as covered by attached estimate. In the case of Bonanza Village pipe line, Work Order #6l4 dated January 8, 1949, the Public Service Commission of Nevada stated that the Water Company should bear the expense of providing adequate pressure.
