I agree.CBAG-IN & PIKE, INC. 310 Fremont Street Las Vegas, Nevada September 8 , 1952 Las Vegas Land and Water Company 401 South Second Street Las Vegas, Nevada G-entlemen: Attn: Mr. Johnson I have your letter of August 29th, enclosing invoice for $>646.00 covering water for cooling towers in connection with the El Portal Theatre - 8 months at $77.00 per month and two months at $15.00 per month. As stated in my previous letter, I am protesting this Charge as being unreasonable and have asked the Public Service Commission for a hearing. I note in your billing that you have charged $77*00 per month for the large unit from January 1st. For your information this plant is closed down from October until May and the power disconnected. This will be true of the smaller units also. I I also note what you have to say about the meter. I appreciate the fact that they are not allowed but I am again offering to permit you to install a meter on my property to measure the water used by this equipment. The pressure has been so low we have been unable to flush our toilets and if any great amount of water was needed in the operation of our cooling units they would be closed down too - I doubt if at times we have had enough pressure to operate a meter, however, I still make this offer. Yours very truly, /S/ E. W. Cragin cc: Robert Allen, Public Service Commission Carson City, Nevada
