    Las Vegas, Nevada, September 26, 1929 Subject: Appraisal & Valuation of Lots- March 1, 1913-Valuation, No, W-l-2 Mr, C.C.Barry, Auditor, Los Angeles,Cgiiforni • Lear Sir: Referring to your letter of September 24, and past correspondence in relation to the above subject, your file LV 208: I am enclosing herewith separate affidavits in tri­plicate copy, covering lots sold to the following: Lots 21 and 22, Block, 25, Clark's Las Vegas Towns!te, Sold to LLOYD R.HILE, Lots,5 and 6 Block, 24, Clark's Las Vegas Townsite, Sold to James Williams, Lots 17 and 18, Block 23, Clark's Las Vegas Townsite, Sold to O.J.Potthoff. This affidavit has been made by Mr, M.M.Riley, a resident of Las Vegas for the past twenty-four years, and in no way connected with the Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad, nor the Las Vegas Land & Water Company, You will note that in addition to having made separate affidavit covering each lot sale, we have stated that the March 1, 1913 value of these 5-room houses was $1900,00 - plus the value of the two lots (25-ft)(on which each of the 5-room houses is located,) at $142,00 each,'making a total valuation of the 5-room houses as of March 1, 1913, of $2184.00.
