F rom its ranks came the volunteers who form ed the cutting edge of the campaign army which achieved the outstanding victory of 3 .2 to 1 for voter approval of the Metropolitan Water D istrict Bonds of $850 m illion in the June, 1966, election. Having accomplished this m ajor objective, the Southland Water Committee w ill, in the future, examine the progress of this largest, single water distribution project ever undertaken and will, from time to tim e, report its findings and results to its m em bership. Arrangem ents have also been made for you to receive M W D 's monthly publication, "Aqueduct N e w s ." I think you will find it very inform ative. MRS.
