This plot of ground is the same which Mr. Haugh had me try to purchase from Mr. McWilliams and at that time he quoted us a price of $12,000 which in Mr. Haugh’s opinion was out of all reason, and I agreed with him; $5,000 or $6,000 would be a very high price for this two and one-half acres. Were the parties you speak of to come in possession of this acreage, I do not think it advisable that we either rent or sell to them, any of our holdings between this plot of ground and the Federal Road.
