Commissioners German and Smith and Mayor Pro tem Mundy voting aye; Noes; none. Upon motion of Commissioner Smith, seconded by Commissioner German it was resolved that the Water, Sewer and Light Commissioner be allowed the sum of not to exceed Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) to purchase a car for the use of the Plumbing Inspector; said car to be purchased from Richardson-Lovelock Company, this city, and to be paid for out of W. S.&L Fund Vote on said resolution was as follows: Commissioners Smith and German and Mayor Pro tem Mundy voting aye; Noes; none. Upon motion of Commissioner German, seconded by Commissioner Smith, it was ordered that the Clerk of this Board notify the Treasurer of the transfer of the following funds, viz: Transfer from General Fund to Fifth Street Widening Fund, the sum of Two Hundred Sixty-One Dollars and Nine Cents, ($261.09); Transfer from General Fund to Water, Sewer & Light Fund, the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00). No further business appearing at this time, upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, a recess was declared until Monday evening, May 6th, 1929, at the hour of seven-thirty o'clock, P. M. May 6th, 1929 At a recessed regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, held on the 6th day of May, 1929, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock, P. M. PRESENT: His Honor the Mayor, J. F. Hesse, Commissioners O. J. Smith, W. B. Mundy, W. C. German; also City Attorney and Clerk. ABSENT: Commissioner Roy Neagle. Meeting called to order by the Mayor. The Clerk read to the Board a letter from E. Roland Brauch, applying for appointment as electrical inspector for the City of Las Vegas. Said letter was laid over for further consideration account of there being no provision at this time for appointment of electrical inspector. Upon motion of Commissioner Smith, seconded by Commissioner Mundy, it was moved that the following resolution be adopted:- WHEREAS it appears that judgment will be entered against the respondents and each of them in the case of STATE OF NEVADA, EX REL., F. E. MATZD0RF, W. H. ELWELL, C. A. BRYANT, J. J. CURTIS and JOE LARAVEY, Relators, -vs- WILLIAM L. SCOTT, CLERK OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: J. F. HESSE, MAYOR, W. B. MUNDY, O. J. SMITH, W. C.
