A ribald musical comedy version of one of the world's long-banned books, "Fanny Hill/ 'is being presented by Frank Sennes in the Dl's Lady Luck Lounge. Written in England over 200 years ago by John Cleland, the lusty novel has been given an up-beat with the original music of Jerry Powell and lyrics by Michael McWhinney and Ron Fletcher. Ivan Lane scored the musical arrangements. Fanny, played by wide-eyed blond beauty Sharon Dierking, starts her tale in England during the bawdy 18th century. But two mod boys, Tom Edsall and Joel Kimmell, narrate Fanny's misadventures as she travels from one frolicsome affair to another during the lively 55 minute romp. The musicomedy opens with Fanny's arrival in London. The beautiful but simple country miss is brought to the foggy town in search of fame and fortune. And, because her beauty is surpassed only by her naivity, she finds work in what she believes is a bonnet shop, but in reality is a naughty brothel. It is in this unlikely setting that the heroine discovers her first true love. But she is soon separated from him by a dirty old man type played by Al Lanti who promptly takes her on a world tour. After many hilarious boudoir capers, Fanny is finally reunited with her original amor. Produced and directed by Ron Fletcher, the "Fanny Hill" cast includes, in addition to Miss Dierking and Lanti, the talents of William Jennings, Kathy Lake, Virginia Jeager, Gail Jensen, Katie Miles, Janice Benane and Jerry Skeels who give strong acting support to the spicy comedy. Daring costumes executed by Berman's of Holly-' wood and colorful scenery designed by Al Lehman complete the Desert Inn presentation. BACKSTAGE - Esper Esau, stage manager of "Pzazz '70," joins in on the laughs of a funny story with pretty dancers Barbara and Cheri Robertson. The comely Robertson girls, who hail from Albuquerque, New Mexico, are one of the very few sisters combination working together in a Las Vegas production. BULL'S-EYE ?╟÷ Lovely Sheri Schruhl, an eye pleasing 36-24-36 Pzazz showgirl, takes dead aim on her target as she tries her skill with darts. The dazzling five-foot, nine inch, dark-haired beauty makes girl watching especially nice when she practices at the Dl pool.
