I agree.Las Vegas « February 3# 19^8 i k$ Rtferring to your letter January 29 to Mr. S. J. Lawson regarding preliminary draft of easements from DPI® to Southern Nevada Power Company covering facilities to serve Railroad Company at Las Vegas: Sir. Hasty and I discussed both the proposed easement and terms of contract with Mr. §. J. Lawson, President, and sir. L. H. Compton, General Manager of the Power Company at Las Vegas. Vith reference to the proposed easement, we feel the description submitted by the Power Company with their letter of January 21 is satisfactory, except the sixth paragraph on page 1, which describe* the easement parallel to Bonanza Road. Because of a variance in the width of Bonanza Road, the description is defective and there is attached a substitution based on the Quarter Section Lin# which is constant and cannot be changed as was the oase in using Bonanza Road as a point of measurement. In this connection, we have plans to develop that portion of Railroad property west of the main line and fronting on Charleston Boulevard as an Industrial Site in order to accomodate additional rail shippers. I have checked with our Industrial Department in Los Angeles and find that this proposed easement to Power Company will not interfere with our plans for future development of that territory* Mr. W. 0.
