Bracken Referring to your letter March 15, file W-23-3 regarding proposed increase in water rates charged consumers by the Las Vegas Land and Water Company at Las Vegas, and your statement therein that the net earnings in 1928 amounted to $8,000.00: Department, taking into account all carrying charges and other items, from which it appears that the earnings in 1928 were considerably less than you mention, and from which it also appears that under the new schedule proposed by you the earnings per annum would amount to but a few hundred dollars. I shall be pleased to afford you the opportunity to look over these figures the next time you are in Los Angeles if you will bring the matter to my attention, this suggestion being offerai merely in the interest of harmonizing any differences with respect to the manner in which net earnings figures are arrived at • I have in my file data prepared by our Engineering cc Mr. R.
