    50 his compensation from the Nevada State Industrial Commission, but that the City of Las Vegas had paid his full salary and suggested that the City pay Officer Rowe for an additional thirty days, in full. Officer Rowe having stated that when his compensation check comes from the Nevada Industrial Commission he will turn it over to the City. Thereafter Commissioner Clark moved that the recommendation of the City Manager be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Corradetti and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. PETITION-- Native Commissioner Clark moved that the City approve the request of the Daughters of the Utah Native Daughters of the Utah Pioneers to operate a souvenir business Pioneers at the Old Fort without a license. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Corradetti and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. STREET DEPARTMENT— Commissioner Clark moved that the City purchase 20,000 yards of Gravel Purchase crushed gravel from Roy Cram at fifty cents a yard, payable $500.00 Roy Cram per month. Further that the City Attorney be directed to draw up an agreement between Roy Cram and the City of Las Vegas and said agreement to be signed by the Mayor and City Clerk. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Corradetti and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. CLARK AVENUE— Commissioner Clark moved that the recommendation of the Planning Widening Commission as of March 21, 1947 relative to the widening of Clark Avenue to a uniform width of sixty-five feet, not be approved, and that the Board approve the fifty foot width for Clark Avenue in accordance with previous action by the Board. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Corradetti and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. AMERICAN LEGION-- Commissioner Clark moved that a supplementary agreement be drawn up 2nd Payment between the American Legion and the City of Las Vegas permitting the payment of $5000.00 at this time on agreed price of $15,000.00 for the purchase of the quarters of the American Legion in the War Memorial Building, when said agreement has been prepared by the City Attorney, the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Corradetti and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. CHARLESTON SQUARE #2 Commissioner Clark moved that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized Final Map to sign the final map on Charleston Square #2 when it has been approved by the City Engineer and City Manager. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Corradetti and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. SWIMMING POOLS-- Commissioner Clark moved that the Claim of Mr. Stanley Runyan in the Runyan Claim sum of $49,687.84 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same when it is approved by the City Manager and City Comptroller. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Corradetti and His Honor voting aye; noes, none.
