Bennett - Los Angeles) Referring to your letter of November 23, 1951, file W 23-4-4, relative to Contract NOy(U) 22681, dated July 1, 1950 (LVL&WCo. Audit No. 10552), covering the furnishing of water by LVL&WCo. to U. S. Naval Reserve Training Center, Las Vegas, Nevada: I have signed the proposed Change Order ”B ”, dated November 9, 1951, supplementing said contract, whereby the Government may terminate the contract and seek damages in event, after hearing, it is determined that gratuities were offered or given to any officer or employe of the Government incident to the awarding of or performance under the agreement, and the original and two copies are returned herewith. I have also signed and return herewith original and two copies of Change Order "C”, amending the agreement to provide for payment of the increased rates effective Sept. 1, 1951.
