1 No. 1 to said existing shop well or said new wells to be drilled 2 within the boundaries of said shop grounds. The District shall 3 not protest or contest such application or applications. The term 4 "shop grounds” as used herein shall mean those lands bounded on 5 the west by a line parallel to and 1600 feet westerly of the 6 westerly line of Main Street, on the east by the westerly line of 7 said Main Street, on the north by Bonanza Road, and on the south 8 by Charleston Boulevard in the City of Las Vegas, Nevada. 9 Notwithstanding Sections 6 and 7 hereof, if the Rail- 10 road Companies shall not on or prior to the sale date have been 11 authorized by the State Engineer to change the point of diversion 12 of the entire quantity of 2,5 cubic feet of water per second 13 authorized to be appropriated by the said Certificate of Appropria- 14 tion referred to in this Section 2 from the existing point of 15 diversion in Well No. 1 to a new point or points of diversion at 16 said existing shop well or new wells to be drilled within said 17 shop grounds, the landsreferred to in paragraph (a) of Section 18 l hereof shall be conveyed to the District subject to said 19 Certificate of Appropriation to the extent of that portion of 20 said 2.5 cubic feet of water per second for which the State 21 Engineer shall not have authorized a change in the point of 22 diversion. Within two years subsequent to the sale date the 23 Railroad Companies shall have the right to obtain from the State 24 Engineer authority to change the point of diversion for the 25 entire quantity of water authorized to be appropriated in said 26 Certificate of Appropriation from said Well No. 1 to said existing 27 28 1 6 ,
