    January 23rd, 1953, identified as Dwg A-1080, hereto attached and made a part hereof* The cost of constructing said water mains (exclusive of the cost of constructing the 15 LF of 6” cast iron fire hydrant connections and the 125 LF of 2” copper water line) is the agreed sum of FOUR THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FORTY & NO/lOO ($4,140.00) DOLLARS the expense of vdiich shall he h o m e hy the Owner. 2, Said water mains shall he cons tructed of 6” cast iron pipe and shall he in accordance with AWWA specifications. All joints shall he cement and all pipe shall he new B & S cast iron, equal to AWWA Class 150. All fittings shall he new, all hell cast iron equal to AWWA Class 150, and all valve boxes shall he of cast iron of appropriate size for each valve. Unless otherwise approved hy a duly authorized representative of the Company, all pipes, valv^ and fittings shall he manufactured hy Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company or Mueller Company, All pipe lines shall he chlorinated in accordance with AWWA specifications, shall he subject to the appro­val and acceptance of State and City Health Authorities, and shall he constructed at an elevation to he designated hy a duly authorize^ representative of the Company, hut in no event shall there he less than 36” of covering over such water mains* All workmanship, mat­erial and the installation of said water mains shall he subject to the approval and acceptance hy a duly authorized representative of the Company. 3. At Owner’s sole cost and expense to survey and ac­curately stake upon the ground the line Along which said water - 2 - A - " * '
