complete within thirty days from the date of the contract. Payments for the above to be made at the times and in the amounts as follows: $400.00 when the three walls are poured up to square of the building; the balance when the building is completed. Respectfully submitted, H.M. Hansen. Thereupon, after due discussion it was the opinion of the Board that the iron rods in the window sashes should be 3 in. apart instead of 6 inches apart, and the city clerk was instructed to make this change in the contract, upon motion of Mayor Pro Tem Dentner, seconded by Commissioner Hodgens, Voting Commissioners Hodgens, Arnold and Mayor Pro Tem Dentner, Aye. Noes, none. Thereupon, it was the opinion of the Board that the above is a fair and satisfactory bid, and it appearing to the Board, from the statement of Commissioner Hodgens, that other contractors have failed or refused to submit bids, it was the order of the Board, upon motion of Commissioner Hodgens seconded by Commissioner Arnold, that the above bid, as amended, be and the same is hereby accepted. Voting Commissioners Hodgens, Arnold, and Mayor Pro Tem Dentner, Aye. Noes, none. Thereupon the Clerk presented the application of H.H. Stinson for a gaming license, (2 games) at the Double 0 Soft Drink Bar, the same being in due form and having been heretofore approved by Police and Fire Commissioner Thos. R. Hodgens, whereupon, it was the order of the Board upon motion of Commissioner Arnold, seconded by Commissioner Hodgens, and duly carried, that a gaming license for 2 games be issued to the said H.H. Stinson. Voting Commissioners Hodgens, Arnold, and Mayor Pro Tem Dentner, Aye. Noes, none. Thereupon, there being no further business to come before the Board at this time, it was ordered that the Board adjourn until next regular meeting to be held on Wednesday, the first day of Novembers, 1922.
