Janet Leigh was an actor, singer, dancer, and author known for performing in films and television shows between 1947 and 2001. Born as Jeanette Helen Morrison on July 6, 1927 in Merced, California, Leigh was best known for performing in the Alfred Hitcock film Psycho (1960). She also performed with John Wayne in the Howard Hughes-produced film Jet Pilot (1957). Leigh married four times in her life, including Tony Curtis whom she had two daughters with: Kelly Lee Curtis and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh died on October 3, 2004 in Beverly Hills, California.
