Healy, Mary, 1918-2015

Mary Healy was born in New Orleans on April 14th, 1918. She was the wife of actor Peter Lind Hayes, and she started her star career early by landing a major role in the 1939 motion picture "Second Fiddle" in 1939 at the age of 21. During the national tour for the movie, she met her husband and the two began their professional career together. She starred in her husband's show "The Peter Lind Show", as well as "Star of the Family", and "Peter Loves Mary", all early 1950's and 1960's popular television shows. On her own, she starred in Broadway productions such as "Around the World". She was the mother of two, Cathy and Peter. Mary Healy passed away on February 4th, 2015 in Calabasas, CA.
