Description
Joanne Pughsley was an educator and community leader in Southern Nevada. She taught at Kit Carson Elementary School and later served as principal of Basic High School in Henderson, Nevada. She was active in civic and social organizations, serving on Pi Tau Sigma’s public relations committee and holding membership in Les Femmes Douze. She was also a sponsor of the 1964 Debutante Ball. She was married to James Pughsley.
