United States Army Chemical Corps is a specialized branch of the U.S. Army responsible for chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) defense. It was established on August 2, 1946, and is responsible for developing doctrine, training, and capabilities to protect military forces and support operations involving hazardous materials.
