Jocelyn, Lee, 1902-1980

Jocelyn Lee was a silent film actor active between the 1920s and 1930s. Born as Mary Alice Simpson on June 21, 1902 in Chicago Heights, Illinois, Lee performed as a showgirl before performing in silent films including the Marshall Neilan-directed and produced Everybody's Acting (1926), a film later acquired by Howard Hughes. Lee first married film producer Henry Lehrman in 1922 and divorced in 1926. Her second marriage with Luther Reed, a director for the Howard Hughes film Hell's Angels (1930), lasted between 1930 and 1931. Lee's third marriage with James Seymour lasted from 1935 until Seymour's death in 1976.

Jocelyn died on June 15, 1980 in New York.
