Wexler, Arnie E., 1937-

Description

Arnie E. Wexler is a compulisve gambling counselor and has served as the director of the Council on Compulsive Gambling in New Jersey from 1984 to 1994. He was born September 26, 1937 and first started gambling in Brooklyn, New York when he was fourteen and started attending Gamblers' Anonymous when he was twenty-one. Arnie E. Wexler married Sheila Wexler in 1961, and after Arnie E. Wexler experienced years of compuslive gambling addiction, they both began working as compulsive gambling counselors. They have presented workshops and training seminars around the United States and internationally, written books, and trained other counselors on helping compulsive gamblers.
