Adolphe Jean Menjou was an actor active between the 1910s and 1960s, known for playing suave and flirtatious roles.
Born on February 18, 1890 in Pittsburge, Pennsylvania, he attended the College of Libral Arts in Cornell University, moved to New York City, New York after graduating, and began acting in 1914. Menjou went into contract with Paramount Pictures and later Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer (MGM) during the transition between silent and sound films in the 1920s. Menjou died on October 29, 1963 in Beverly Hills, California.
