Description

Born in India and raised in Zambia, Africa, Zia U. Khan is a cardiologist, philanthropist, and AAPI advocate. Khan's father was one of three sons who were left fatherless at an early age when their father died and who were raised by their widowed mother. Khan moved to Las Vegas in 2000 to join a large cardiology practice. However, in 2006, he founded his own Las Vegas practice, Desert Cardiovascular Consultants and and also does monthly clinics in Ely and Winnemucca. Khan supports AAPI, humanitarian, political, and educational causes. He also leads the Imagine Foundation, a non-profit that donates emergency funds to people affected by events beyond their control.
