Wende Lestelle is an educator in Las Vegas. She moved here with her family in 1968, and graduated from Western High School. After high school, she attended University of Utah and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and graduated with an bachelor's degree in earth science in 1980. Lestelle then attended the University of Nevada-Reno (UNR) for her master's degree in education. After graduation, she came back to Las Vegas and began her career in the Clark County School District. She has taught at multiple high schools around the Las Vegas Valley.
