Thomas "Bob" Patrick was born in Los Angeles, California on November 26, 1934. He was the founder of the first Las Vegas, Nevada television production company, The Production Company, and was the producer for many commercials across the country. He got his start in entertainment when he joined his mother's band at age eight.
From the band, he transitioned into acting and became a child actor in 1944. After his career slowed down, he went to San Diego State University in southern California and receieved a bachelor's degree in Physics. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in El Paso, Texas. It was there that he formed his own band, The Satellites. This band broke up, but after his time in the army, he continued to play music and formed another band. In 1962, he came to Las Vegas, Nevada as a part of a five-year contract to perform at the Hacienda and New Frontier hotels.
As soon as he came to Las Vegas, Bob opened up a photography studio. His work for local and national magazines and his entertainment industry experience led him to form The Production Company in 1977. He worked with his company until his passing in 2017, and was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame.
