Bill Mason is secretary and treasurer of the construction firm Taylor International Corp.. Mason was born in Miami Beach, Florida and moved with his parents, Fora and Stuart Mason, to Las Vegas in 1964. He graduated from Valley High School in 1980 and continued his education at the College of Idaho where he earned a liberal arts degree with dual majors in Business management and psychology. He then continued his education at the University of Miami and earned his master of business administration in 1986. After college Bill worked in Southern California assisting management and harvesting operations for a large agricultural firm. In 1988 he returned to Las Vegas to work in the family construction business, Taylor International Corp. where he has overseen many projects including ones in Chile and Peru. In 1997 he worked as project manager on the Sheraton Desert Inn Project. After the Desert Inn project he and his brother, Jim, purchased the remaining shares of Taylor International and took over management.
He is married to Sara Price Maron, an attorney. He is a board member of his local National Public Radio Station (KNPR), a trustee on the Board of the College of Idaho, and a supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Temple Beth Sholom.
