Janice Fallman (1947-) was born to Ima and James Fallman on November 3, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1954, Fallman moved with her family to Las Vegas, Nevada. She attended Las Vegas High School where she participated in the Rhythmette dance team. In 1970, she graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a bachelor's degree in Spanish. In 1981, Janice earned a Juris Doctorate from the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific in Sacramento, California. She worked for many different organizations including the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and as a lawyer in both Nevada and California.
