Gail Munford was the wife and collaborator of musical director and arranger Gordon Munford. She also worked in Washington, D.C. for Michigan Senator Carl Levin and Nevada Senator Richard Bryan. She was born May 28, 1941 in New York City, New York to Celia and Morris Bellar. She worked in New York as a fashion model and administrative assistant before moving to Los Angeles, California in her twenties. Gail married Gordon Munford in May 20, 1977 and began collaborating with him on his work in music. She retired to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2000 and wrote a book about her time touring and working with her husband and other musicians titled On The Road With The Two Gordons. In her retirement, she was also a member of the Las Vegas Jazz Society. Gail Munford died August 23, 2010.
