Fulkerson, Bob A.

Robert "Bob" A. Fulkerson is a fifth-generation Nevadan who founded and became the State Director of Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada (PLAN). He attended George Washington University in Washington D.C. and worked as a staffer on Senator Paul Laxalt’s campaign. When he returned to Nevada in 1984 he became the Executive Director of Citizen Alert, which was a grassroots watchdog group, until 1994. Soon after he left Citizen Alert, he founded PLAN which created a coalition of organizations looking to achieve greater social justice. He also worked at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Social Work where he taught classes on oppression and privilege. Bob Fulkerson continues to advocate for the people of the State of Nevada.
