Senzaki, Paul

Description

Paul Senzaki was born in Denver, Colorado. His parents were both born in California but moved to Denver, Colorado at the onset of World War II to avoid internment of Japanese-Americans. The family moved to Los Angeles, California in 1954. Senzaki attended the University of Southern California and obtained a bachelor's degree in architecture and a master's degree in urban design. Senzaki began working as an architect with The Jerde Partnership, an architecture and master planning firm with headquarters based in Los Angeles, California as well as offices in Shanghai, China; Seoul, South Korea; Singapore; and Hong Kong.

Senzaki was the Director of Contract Administration and worked on a number of projects based in Las Vegas, Nevada through the 1990s including the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino as well as the Fremont Street Experience.
