Renee Lee grew up in Brooklyn, New York, where she lived and worked during her young adult life as a Broadway actress and singer. After her stint on Broadway, Lee moved to Nevada with the production of Destry Rides. She made Las Vegas her permanent residence in 1962. She worked at many of the popular casinos of the time, including Desert Inn Hotel and Casino. Lee continued to perform into her later years, competing in senior beauty pageants and starring in the play Love Over 40 that ran at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino. She died May 24, 2015.
