David Donovan worked as a Las Vegas, Nevada hydrogeologist. His work and research focused on wells, drilling, ground and surface water, and the Las Vegas Valley aquifer. Donovan earned his Bachelors of Science from Northern Arizona University in geology in 1987, and in 1996 he earned his Masters of Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he focused on geoscience and hydrology. In 2014 Donovan started his own consulting firm, Aqua Petrus, where he advises on hydraulic studies, climate change, drilling, geophysical analysis, aquifer testing, and water-level maps.
