Patrick Rowe was born on April 4, 1960, in Denver, Colorado.

Rowe worked as an engineer for Reynolds Electrical & Engineering Company (REECo) and the shaw group in affiliation with the Nevada Test Site. Rowe was an engineer in drilling from 1982-1995. He started his position as a department manager for drilling and mining in 1995.
