Mike Gausling started in the casino industry as a slot floor person at the Aladdin in 1976. After about a year, he moved to the Stardust in a similar capacity and in 1980 went to the the Sundance, later named Fitzgeralds and The D Las Vegas. Gausling later worked at the Holiday Casino where he held supervisory roles and then after about 12 years in those roles, eventually assisted in opening the Stratosphere. He would then move to The Mirage where he would start on the floor again before moving into higher positions at that property.
Lydia Berry was born January 18, 1914 in Kansas City, Missouri. Berry received her bachelor's degree in science education from Northwest Missouri State University. She taught for a few years and then worked as a school clerk in the Kansas City school district. She then moved to Los Angeles, California where she worked as a secretary. She was married in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1954.
Jane A. Bigelow was born in Buffalo, New York on July 25, 1943 to Robert and Mary Bigelow. She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada on March 10, 1985. Bigelow served in the United States Air Force as a surgical nurse. She left the service with a rank of Lieutenant Colonel. She served throughout the United States and even in Vietnam.
Patricia Bryan was born in Alexandria, Minnesota on March 17, 1917.She is the oldest of two children. She graduated from an elite girls boarding school in 1935 during the Great Depression. She attended college at the University of California, Los Angeles and Northwestern University. Byran married her college sweetheart at age 22 after finishing school at Northwestern. She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1947 and worked as a housewife.
Thelma Coblentz was born April 21, 1911 in New Jersey. She moved to Loveland, Nevada in 1936 where her husband provided medical care as one of the first physicians in the small town. Coblentz moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1958.
