Oral history interview with Harvey N. Dondero conducted by Iskandar A. Batlouni on February 26, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Dondero discusses relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1931 to teach at Las Vegas High School. Dondero also discusses the Boulder (Hoover) Dam, the gaming industry, school integration, the Westside, the Strip, Howard Hughes, Block 16, and the growth of Las Vegas from a sleepy railroad town to a thriving metropolis.

Oral history interview with Thalia Dondero conducted by Mary Germain on March 13, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Dondero discusses being a leader for the Girl Scouts, and how some of those experiences led her to get involved in politics. Dondero also mentions her work with National Geographic and working with oil paintings and watercolors. Dondero then recalls her work as a commissioner for Clark County, Nevada and some of the challenges she has faced.

Dondero first speaks about her background and the circumstances which led her to move to Las Vegas, Nevada. She also talks about her children, her work with the Parent-Teacher Association, and her service with the Nevada State Park Commission. She also describes the development of the Las Vegas Strip, her involvement in various organizations, her consideration in running for governor, and some of the topics she handled as a commissioner for the county.

Oral history interview with Alice Doolittle conducted by Christopher Moran on March 21, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview Alice Doolittle discusses why she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, working as a dental assistant, her move to Boulder City, Nevada, the first theaters in Las Vegas, the Union Pacific Railroad, and the Doolittle Center.

Oral history interview with Chester Davis conducted by Keith Sargent on June 24, 1987 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In his interview Davis discusses his time working as a librarian in the James Dickinson Library at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
