Topics also included racial discrimination, sports, and how the development of the Strip influenced her life while attending school in Las Vegas, as well as its relation to tourism and aboveground atomic testing.

She then talks about moving to and building her home in the Twin Lakes area in Las Vegas, her experiences working at Sunrise Hospital, and the Las Vegas Strip. She also discusses the early pioneers of Las Vegas, the formation of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas's library system, and the changing social conditions of Las Vegas.
