The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Classified Staff Council Records (1968-2000) contain meeting agendas and minutes, and correspondence pertaining to the hiring, paying, management, and training of University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) campus classified staff. The collection also includes member lists and memoranda from when UNLV was known as Nevada Southern University.
Oral history interview with Rabbi Sanford Akselrad conducted by Barbara Tabach on October 29, 2014 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. In this interview Rabbi Akselrad describes his rabbinical training, coming to Las Vegas, Nevada, becoming the rabbi at Congregation Ner Tamid in 1988, and the growth of the congregation.
