Description

Ten men and one woman sit and stand around a table in what appears to be someone's home. One man signs a document and another reads papers in front of him while the rest observe. Individuals identified: "Standing, left to right: 1. ___ Davidson, Goldfield 2. Ira Jacobson, Demo. Politican 3. __ Lambertucci 4. Dominic Lambertucci, 5. Unknown 6. Gov. Carvell (Carville?) Seated, left to right: 1. Bill Beko 2. Pete Breen, Sr. 3. Unknown 4. Unknown 5. Minette Crandel, Times-Bonanza Owner."

Description

Children line up outside schoolhouse for funeral procession for Orley Wardle. The children all wear coats and hats, and many are wearing all black. Included with photograph is a Xerox of a letter to Dr. Elizabeth Patrick from Luella and Austin [Wardle?], dated May 19, 1982. Letter says that Austin's brother's name was Orley R. Wardle and he was born in Park City, Utah in 1899. Orley passed away at the age of 8 years old on February 11, 1907 from spinal menengitis. Luella said that many died from the same sickness that winter.

This is where molten salt pumped up from below is heated to 1050°F (566°C). On site photo, Crescent Dunes Solar, near Tonopah, Nevada, USA."
