The Greenpeace Pacific Southwest Records are comprised of files and documents pertaining to environmental activism in Southern Nevada from 1962 to 1994, primarily addressing the organization of protests at the Nevada Test Site. The collection contains newspaper articles, newsletters, publications, financial records, protest information, correspondence, meeting minutes, articles of incorporation, Freedom of Information Act requests, and Nevada Test Site information. Also contained in the collection are maps and documents related to various environmental issues such as nuclear waste, land use, wildlife protection, and international environmental activism.

The Southwest Oral History Association Records contains records of the Southwest Oral History Association (SOHA) from 1981 to 2020. Records include agendas and minutes from the executive board committee, financial records, correspondence, photographs, and planning documents for SOHA's annual conference.

Chabad of Southwest is in the center of the southwest part of the Las Vegas Valley. It offers weekly prayer services, holiday’s programs, women’s only gathering, as well as adult and child education classes. Rabbi Levi and Mrs. Chayala Wilhem are directors of this center and are constantly thinking of ways to expand Jewish activities into the Southwest Las Vegas Valley.
The Scenic Southwest Travel Guide was a monthly publication produced in Williams, Arizona from 1950 through 1955.

Materials contain photographs of Bella Tyktin Stern in several locations around the American Southwest from 1944 to 1960. Materials include photographs of Stern at Scotty's Castle in Death Valley, Califorinia, the Grand Canyon, Arizona, and Valley of Fire, Nevada.
