Radoff, Janellen, 1940-
Janellen Radoff was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her mother was a local radio/TV personality with her own show and her father was a successful real estate entrepreneur. Radoff attended the University of Michigan studying at the school of architecture and design. Before moving to Nevada, her career path included Restaurant Associates, a short stint as a Girl Friday for Johnny Carson, and freelance product design while starting a family.

Description
Inside the Stardust Hotel and Casino, there are several card tables and chairs present in the room. On the far wall, there are intricate gold wall-hangings of different card suit shapes. The carpet underneath the tables has a reddish diamond pattern. This color photograph was taken prior to the renovation of the hotel in the mid 1970s. Employees stand behind the change counter but their faces and bodies are blurred. The color photograph was taken before the casino was renovated in the mid 1970s. Description
Four construction workers complete various tasks for the Stardust Hotel renovation. The man closest to the camera seems to be measuring or cutting a piece of wood, while two men on a scaffold balance near wires in the ceiling. A fourth worker uses a shovel towards the back of the room. An alternate view of this room can be seen in Image 0052 pho024209.
