Oral history roundtable with members of Temple Beth Sholom conducted by Barbara Tabach on January 14, 2015 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Sandy Mallin, past president of Temple Beth Sholom, leads a group of past leaders of the earliest Jewish synagogue (founded in 1946) in a discussion reminiscing on the temple’s beginning and growth as the Jewish population of Las Vegas, Nevada grew.

Oral history interview with Raya Meron conducted by Claytee D. White on July 14, 2014 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Meron discusses her upbringing in Israel, moving to Istanbul with her husband, and immigrating to Canada after their divorce. Meron also talks about her career as a showgirl in Las Vegas, Nevada, including being in the Vive les Girls road show in 1965. She then discusses her involvement in helping Cambodian refugees.

Hambric discusses serving in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War in the United States Navy, while recalling racial experiences in the military. He also talks about moving to Nevada in 1976 and protesting against the closing of F Street from 2008 to 2014, when the street was reopened.

Gertrude Rudiak was a local civil rights pioneer, wife of George Rudiak, and has lived in Las Vegas, Nevada since 1943. She raised her five children in Las Vegas and was active in the Jewish community. In her interview Rudiak discusses Jewish life and culture in Las Vegas.

He also talks about the restaurant he owned, Piero's restaurant on Convention Center Drive; also the setting for scenes in the movie “Casino” (1995).
