Oral history interview with Larry L. Woodrum conducted by Michael T. Groome on March 11, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Isola discusses Las Vegas, Nevada’s lack of a unified garbage system and how dumping sites have had to adjust their practices in order to limit their impact on pollution. Isola also explains the different disposal protocols for wet and dry trash.

In this interview, Welch discusses his personal history and the history of Las Vegas, Nevada, including being raised in Las Vegas and life in the city during the 1930s. He describes how Las Vegas and the surrounding areas have grown and changed, his education, and the construction of casinos and other important buildings.

Oral history interview with George Albright (born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 6, 1909) conducted by Deborah J. Cox on February 16, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas.

After living in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Reno, Nevada, Albright relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1931. A former county commissioner, Albright discusses the Las Vegas Convention Center, Clark County Recreation Board, tourists and conventioneers, the land, and the Las Vegas economy.

Oral history interview with Eugene Perry conducted by Anneliese McKenna on March 11, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Perry discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada from Denver, Colorado in 1955. Perry discusses his career as a dealer in the Golden Nugget and other Las Vegas casinos. Perry also describes how Las Vegas has benefited economically from gambling and casinos.

Oral history interview with Richard T. Chapter conducted by Stan Hawkins on March 6, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview Stan Hawkins discusses the cost of living in Las Vegas, Nevada, Howard Hughes, the Boulder Dam, the Union Pacific Railroad, the old Mormon Fort, gambling, local businesses, and the weather in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Bob Gronauer conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee D. White on October 27, 2016 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Gronauer discusses his early life in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and describes living in subsidized housing. He talks about moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1989, his employment with Las Vegas Paving, and his involvement with building the Luxor Hotel and Casino. Gronauer then recalls doing the master plans for the Iron Mountain Ranch community in the late 1990s, his contributions to the development of public parks, and developing master plans for North Las Vegas communities. Lastly, Gronauer discusses location planning for new projects and obtaining support from home owners and elected officials.
