Oral history interview with Ernest Jackson conducted by Larry E. Cooper on March 1, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Jackson discusses his experiences in the Westside as a Black Las Vegas, Nevada resident. Jackson discusses the lack of property buyers on the Westside and his goals of improving the Westside by building on the land. Jackson also discusses his youth as a baseball star for Las Vegas High School in the 1950s.

Oral history interviews with Amilcar “Ace” Daniels conducted by Rodrigo Vazquez and Monserrath Hernández on June 15, 2019 and June 22, 2019 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. In the first interview, Daniels discusses growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada and shares his parents' emigration story from the Dominican Republic to the United States in the early 1980s. He talks about attending the College of Southern Nevada (CSN), the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Later, Daniels speaks on his career in hospitality, his passion for live theater, and his advocacy for the performing arts in Las Vegas. He talks about being a minority person in the hospitality industry, the importance of maintaining his cultural identity, and Latino representation in theater. In the second interview, Daniels discusses his involvement with the non-profit arts organization Super Summer Theatre, and participating in the Las Vegas Pride Festival. Lastly, Daniels talks about issues of colorism in the Latinx community.

Oral history interview with Shannon Rabb conducted by Claytee D. White on December 20, 2022 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. In this interview, Rabb describes her experience living in the Herbert Gerson Housing Development on the Westwide of Las Vegas. She describes it as safe, as community, and as protection from the police. In this interview, Rabb discusses a wide variety of topics including gangs, drugs, Westside businesses, and family with an expanded definition.

Oral history interview with Amalette Wilson conducted by Koh Swee Huat on May 10, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Wilson discusses Boulder City, Nevada and the Hoover (Boulder) Dam.

Oral history interview with Stanley Paher conducted by Javier Romero on March 04, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Paher describes his personal history in Las Vegas, Nevada and the layout of the city when its population was only eight thousand people. Paher describes the development of bigger casinos in Las Vegas and the evolution of the Strip. Paher also discusses his career as a writer and publisher, writing about the ghost towns of Nevada.

Oral history interview with Mary E. Habbart conducted by Pamela Larkins on July 15, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. The two discuss Habbart’s personal family history and her family’s reasons for moving to Las Vegas, Nevada. Habbart also describes social and economic changes to Las Vegas and her local dairy farm.

Oral history interview with Steve Hobbs conducted by Howie Basuk on February 17, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Hobbs describes the different sports he was in and includes the various rewards and championships he accomplished. Hobbs also talks about becoming general manager of Olympian Incorporated.
