He missed the Olympics due to World War II, and retired from senior competitions in 1944, though he continued to vault into his sixties. In 1974 he inducted into the International Association of Athletics Federations Hall of Fame."
Steven Ligouri was born February 22, 1962 and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He’s an artist whose creations can be enjoyed at such places as the Hoover Dam, where his famous High Scaler sculptor sits comfortably. Ligouri began mastering his trade making jewelry with assistance of his father, Bruno Ligouri, who owned a turquoise shop in Boulder City, Nevada.
Josephine Bruns was born December 22, 1914 in Las Vegas, Nevada. After graduating from Las Vegas High School, she worked at the LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah before moving back to Las Vegas. Bruns also held a job as a stewardess before marrying her husband in 1949. She passed away March 04, 1998.
Marie Louise Perri was a wife and a homemaker in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was married to Charles Perri and the mother of Charles, Dennis, and Anita Perri. She passed away on May 19, 2005.
